Training and Development

  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on sales techniques and industry trends.
  • Develop expertise in BMW motorcycles and dealership products, with a willingness to quickly learn as needed.
  • Stay informed about competing brands to highlight the advantages of BMW products.
  • Complete all assigned training via BMW University, webinars, and workshops.

Sales Department Duties

  • Achieve new and used vehicle sales quotas as established with the Sales Manager.
  • Maintain dealership profit margins on all vehicle sales.
  • Follow established procedures to ensure accurate and timely completion of paperwork.
  • Guide customers through the BMW of Seattle Sales Process:
    • Greet and log all prospects in the CRM system, regardless of their buying timeline.
    • Obtain and record customer contact information (phone, email).
    • Utilize time effectively to address customer needs and generate sales.
    • Conduct probing conversations to understand customer desires and needs.
    • Present product features and benefits while emphasizing advantages over competitors.
    • Encourage customers to engage with products (e.g., sitting on motorcycles).
    • Ensure all customers feel valued through consistent treatment and a memorable delivery experience.
  • Update CRM records as prospects progress through the sales process.
  • Schedule and manage all sales activities in the CRM, including appointments and test rides.
  • Cross-sell parts, accessories, F&I products, warranties, and service contracts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized showroom, including regular motorcycle upkeep.

Physical Demands

  • Work environment may be noisy at times.
  • Occasionally required to balance and push motorcycles up to 900 lbs.
  • Expect to spend most of the day standing and walking.

Working Conditions

  • Potential exposure to gasoline, chemical cleaning agents, and other materials typical of a service department.
  • Occasional exposure to exhaust fumes.
